There’s a new initiative over at CMX called The CMX Mobile Device Reference Resource. It’s an attempt to collect capabilities for mobile browsers (CSS support for one). This is very reminiscent of the Flash Lite capabilities matrix that exists.

There’s a free intro article entitled “The Mobile Internet” over at Community MX. The author, Adrian Senior, is covering some of the intricacies in browser based content creation using HTML and CSS (stylesheets & media types, browser inconsistencies, etc) for handheld devices. If you’re looking for an excellent book on UI, this is the one to have. I had a previous edition which was quite dated … now there is a 2nd version!
About Face 2.0 - the essentials of interaction design
Belongs on any serious designer’s bookshelf. It’s the equivalent of Steve McConnell’s Code Complete (for Programmers) …
