I just read from Mark Doherty’s blog that Device Profile #5 is now available for download.
In addition to many new Flash Lite 2.x devices, this new update has some of the first profiles for Flash Lite 3 devices shipping world-wide; including the Nokia N95 NAM, and some supported Japanese Keitai.
In addition; as always … [...]

Judging from the rotating banner over at flashdevices.net … I would say it’s safe to say guess that a certain special someone has a Flash Lite 3 enabled device (the FOMA Sh905i) from NTT DoCoMo (Japan).
This device and other keitai in this series are Symbian OS based.
There are some clips on youtube from a user [...]

I noticed a Flash Lite 1.x book was released over in Japan.
Japan has been a Flash Lite 1.x market for the last few years (since 2003-2004) … but generally speaking … so is much of the rest of the world, if you want to get the best penetration rate (in terms of world wide consumption) [...]

In Japan, there’s a new mobile service called Chipuya Town.
It’s a virtual world accessible on Flash enabled keitai. Users can create avatars in a virtual 2-D world that represents Tokyo’s Shibuya shopping district.
Essentially it’s a Flash based MMORPG targeted at younger Japanese women. Within the world players socialize with each other, and attain “Groove” [...]

“Bill-san” is giving a presentation at an upcoming Tech-mobi event in Japan (in Japanese).
I don’t have my translator accessible right now, so I’m just going by google.
Tech-mobi seems to be focused on Flash Lite technology, trends & business.
Looks to be about 10 total speaking on Flash Lite at this event.
Tech-mobi 2007 - [...]

Device Profile Update #4 is now released for Adobe Device Central CS3.
Bill Perry has some installation comments, which you should read first.
Essentially … it boils down to installing the updates in “proper sequence”, (especially, if, say you’re just now catching up with Flash Lite and have a recent install with no previous updates. You’ll [...]
