Funny, but I like the user experience in flixwagon (it is a bit more polished IMHO), but like the core functionality found in qik.com!
I think [...]

A bit of advance notice, but I will be participating in the upcoming MobileCampBoston event scheduled for next month (March 15th). For more info, check out the site.
I’m not sure what I’ll be talking about yet … there is a 75% chance it will be Flash Lite, or Flash Mobile related …however, I do [...]

It’s a rather simple equation:
JoikuSpot + Wi-Fi Shirt = Everybody’s friend in a Wi-Fi-less area!?
No, but seriously … if you don’t have concerns about security, limiting your own bandwidth (3G anyone?), and/or essentially allowing someone(s) onto your data plan; there’s JoikuSpot for Nokia S60 devices.
Here’s what it is:
JoikuSpot is a free mobile software solution [...]

Over at the n95blog, there is a list of 25 “must have applications” for Nokia N95.
There are some really great applications listed which I have been using (I follow n95blog pretty closely).

Qik is a service (currently in alpha) that allows you stream live videos out to the masses. Currently, it’s for Series 60 devices (such as the N95, etc).
“Qik is a little piece of software that enables you to stream videos directly from your phone to the Web.
Use it to stream engaging videos to your [...]

I was reading about Bunnie’s lastest robotic contraption that was built using a chumby, phidgets, RC vehicle, cam, DVB-T Modulator, and more! Thought I’d share the link.
Rather than explain what it does, I’ll leave the pictures below and a link to his blog. If you don’t feel like visiting his page, then I’m sure you [...]

If you hadn’t been aware, CES 2008 (Consumer Electronics Show) is going on this week in Las Vegas. Engadget is covering the event.
Lots of gadgets, devices, misc electronics, and excessive drool due to really cool products *that you want now*!
In regards to Flash; as Bill Perry just mentioned on his blog; some of [...]

Moket gave their presentation of the Club Moket service today as part of the Boston Adobe Mobile and Devices User Group.
Thanks to Dale for taking the time to let everyone know a little bit more about the new service, Club Moket, which is helping to deliver Flash Lite content to the worldly regions.
If you are [...]

I created a really quick mobile guide for Flex Camp Boston tomorrow. A few hours of work.
Because it is in not in final state, I will not be posting source, quite yet.
However, if you are at the event, and I attend (I’m planning on it … but I am kind of sick right now), [...]

I caught this sometime last week and just now getting to posting about it.
Andreas Jakl (a Symbian developer) and a buddy (Stephan Selinger) took a RC (radio controlled for those not nerdy enough), and managed to write some custom software (Python app) to control it (via blueooth + microcontroller) using a Nokia N95 [...]
