Oh noes … Mobile devices really *are* taking over the world … check out the Toshiba’s 815T PB on Softbank.
Do these devices support Flash Lite that connect to Skynet via a loadVariables()?! Not sure!

I was reading about Bunnie’s lastest robotic contraption that was built using a chumby, phidgets, RC vehicle, cam, DVB-T Modulator, and more! Thought I’d share the link.
Rather than explain what it does, I’ll leave the pictures below and a link to his blog. If you don’t feel like visiting his page, then I’m sure you [...]

In Japan, there’s a new mobile service called Chipuya Town.
It’s a virtual world accessible on Flash enabled keitai. Users can create avatars in a virtual 2-D world that represents Tokyo’s Shibuya shopping district.
Essentially it’s a Flash based MMORPG targeted at younger Japanese women. Within the world players socialize with each other, and attain “Groove” [...]

“Bill-san” is giving a presentation at an upcoming Tech-mobi event in Japan (in Japanese).
I don’t have my translator accessible right now, so I’m just going by google.
Tech-mobi seems to be focused on Flash Lite technology, trends & business.
Looks to be about 10 total speaking on Flash Lite at this event.

David Collier (of Japan) had a post recently on some of the highlights from DoCoMo’s keynote given by Natsuno Takeshi at last week’s Adobe MAX Japan 2007 conference.
According to Dave’s post, Flash Lite 3.0 enabled handsets will be shipping as early as end of this month over there.
Here is a bunch of bullet points David [...]

I found some resources available from Korea and Japan. Mostly some regional (Korean and Japanese) devnet articles from earlier in the year.
Some of it is interesting, so I’m sharing this info as a Flash Lite Friday - Tip of the Day.
Here are [...]
