This is nothing new (a SIM card reader/writer) … but this specific device is getting a bit of coverage, today.
I caught this a while back, but I wanted to wait a bit until I saw more coverage of it (to help substantiate some of it’s feature claims … besides the typical SIM backup).

Oh noes … Mobile devices really *are* taking over the world … check out the Toshiba’s 815T PB on Softbank.
Do these devices support Flash Lite that connect to Skynet via a loadVariables()?! Not sure!
In any regard, anyone know Sarah Connor’s address? Must get John Connor to safety!

New Chumby (major) updates available

There are new software/firmware updates for Chumby.
To get the updates, power cycle your unit(s) … or if you must go the USB stick route.
After update, this should bring you to SW: 1.4.0, FW: 533 (or another variant).
