Adobe has released beta bits for Flash Player 10.1 for “PCs” (e.g. OSX, Windows, Linux) and netbooks via the Adobe labs. Yet another announcement coming out of last week’s Adobe MAX: Adobe and Qualcomm Bring Full Flash Player to Next-Generation Mobile Devices. According to the article, Qualcomm (a longtime Open Screen partner) is working with Adobe to optimize and increase performance for Flash Player 10.1 for Qualcomm’s chipsets targeted at smartphones and smartbooks.
