Nintendo DS Lite: Jam Sessions game

I know this will seem pretty lame to real guitar players out there, but I did think this new DS Lite game, “Jam Sessions” slated for September 2007, looked like a unique and interesting application of gaming, music, mobile and social aspects.

Nintendo DS Lite … how do you improve on near perfection?

Apparently, there’s some speculative talk about a second version of the Nintendo DS Lite over at dsfanboy and engadget.
My question: How do you improve on near perfection?
I’m sure Nintendo has some good ideas to answer this question (if the rumors are in fact true).
