I caught this a while back when it was debut at CES 2008, and was thinking it might be Flash Lite … but I wasn’t 100% sure.
Well, recently, I caught a photo from Matt S. (Adobe) (MWC 2008) which indicated they were. Not that I believe everything I read … but even if it’s [...]

Bug Labs has an interesting concept.
buglabs.net is selling a kit which allows the average tech savvy consumer (but not necessarily an all out hardware “hacker”) the ability to create/experiment with snap friendly type hardware components.
“BUG makes it fun and easy to build any gadget you can imagine. Build familiar things like digital cameras and GPS [...]

I was just reading that the LG Prada sold more than 700,000 units last year (according to ME Magazine).
In case you weren’t aware, this is one of many devices sporting Flash Lite user interfaces in the market today.
Given the device’s simplicity … one of it’s key selling points … an intuitive touchscreen based mobile [...]

I caught this off some Mobile World Congress 2008 coverage.
“Engaging Mobile Experiences - Delivered Across Devices”, “Mobile Author - Design, Preview, and Test Engaging Mobile Content”, “flash on.” are all visible
The only ones I can make out is Kathy C. (Adobe MaD) … and perhaps Paul Lamonby (?). Of course, if you pictured feel free [...]

Actually, it’s no secret! Check out the numbers on penetration rate.
But seriously, I’ve been following the commentary following a certain special (albeit, lonely) mobile device called the “iPhone” … surely, you’ve heard of it by now? … well, with it being so near and dear to many hearts here in the U.S. market (and [...]

Engadget posted about modumobile which has created “modular handset” technology.
The idea appears to be that instead of synching/interacting within a proximity range, you modularize this device directly into compatible “modu-mates” and other consumer electronics.
There is not much detail and no specs yet, but seems like it will be possible to personalize your modu device [...]

Looks like Bill is geeking out with a new Sony Mylo 2 (which supports a web based implementation of Flash leveraging Flash Lite 3).
He posted about it a while back when it was showcased at CES where he commented:
“The mylo 2 is a WiFi based device that allows users to browse the web with Flash [...]
