I was reading about Bunnie’s lastest robotic contraption that was built using a chumby, phidgets, RC vehicle, cam, DVB-T Modulator, and more! Thought I’d share the link.
Rather than explain what it does, I’ll leave the pictures below and a link to his blog. If you don’t feel like visiting his page, then I’m sure you [...]

If you’re working with the chumby … you can set a top level _root variable called _chumby_widget_done to a value of the string value of “true” to immediately advance to the next widget in a channel … and without waiting around for the default play time of the current widget to expire.
Here’s the code:
[AS]_chumby_widget_done = [...]

I put some time towards creating a Chumby Device Profile for Adobe Device Central CS3 (Note: It’s very alpha at this point in time).
I am releasing this into the wild, because Adobe just released a Device Profile Update #4 … meaning it’s most likely to be quite some time before a certified Chumby profile makes [...]

My 2nd chumby arrived today (I am in the US by the way).
Yes, it’s an insider release model. What’s that, you ask?
Don’t want to wait until we’ve added all the features for the official chumby launch in early ‘08? Then order one through our Insider’s Release program — not only will you get a [...]

Moket released a 1.0 of “Zub Zub” for the Chumby. I am just adding it to my channels now (incidentally, my chumname is: scottjanousek. If you want to connect you’ll need to send me an email with your username).
Perhaps there is an easter egg where the Chumby makes a grand appearance as the lead squidy [...]

Dave made a post about FOTB (Flash on the Beach), and also posted his slides from his presentation (Flash Lite + Mobile Development).
You can download it here.
You should also make it a point to check out FOTB, as (from what I hear from fellow Bostonians) it is a cool event.
