Earlier this year, I attended a mobile video seminar here in Boston (at MIT) where members of Brightcove gave a talk. The general underlying message was “we use whatever technology that solves our customers needs” (or something along those lines).

Well, fast forward 2-3 months they have just launched their new Brightcove App SDK for Android and also support for Flash 10.1. Both of these compliment their native iOS offering, and now they can target Android, and also utilize Flash 10.1 on any platform supporting Flash Video on devices.

I caught the news from BostInnovation just recently.

Good to see Brightcove is covering their bases.
