Essentially, TI will be working to help deliver an optimized Adobe Flash Player and Adobe AIR to OMAP 3 Platform which targets Mobile Phones and MID class devices. TI OMAP powers many smartphone platforms, including S60, Palm Pre, and Samsung OMNIA. It’s also used within Archos devices.

According to Mark, Adobe expects a new Flash Player later in summer across many platforms. At end of 2009, it will ship to Open Screen Partners (like Palm, etc). All this means (given prior history with Flash Lite rollouts), it’s likely to be early 2010 before it shows up on actual shipping devices.
