Nokia “appStore” supposedly in the works (ya think?! lol)

It’s not really surprising to hear about Enadget reporting a supposed Nokia Symbian-based “appStore” (that would mostly likely be announced, if not launched by Mobile World Congress).

Well, they already have had the community driven Nokia MOSH for a while now in trials, so perhaps they’ve learned a lot of lessons and are prepared to proceed to a commercial offering …

I’m guessing it won’t be limited to just Symbian (given that Nokia does offer other platforms: Qt, S40, maemo, others), but maybe to start with, it might; given the device numbers for possible end user mobile consumption of content.

My guess is that it will be part of OVI. Would also be nice if users could side load content via PCSuite … just a hunch. We’ll see to see what happens in the next couple of weeks.

Oh yeah, I’m pretty sure Flash (Lite) would be part of the ecosystem, if this said store were to become a reality.
