Flash Player for iPhone still a R&D thing for Adobe

Flash Magazine had a recent post that covered some comments on Flash on iPhone from here at Flash on the Beach, today, from the Adobe “Town Hall” meetings.

As I alluded to in my ActionScript Hero interview a few weeks back, at this point, it’s more about business than technical that is holding back Flash on iPhone (although I imagine creating/porting a player is no small task in of itself).

As many of us know, Apple is running a tight/closed ship when it comes to development with iPhone, so if/when Flash for iPhone comes to a device shipping and/or is a downloadable from Apple, remains still, an unknown (I wouldn’t count on any early Christmas presents … but anything is possible).
