On past (LG) devices the OTA player brought down from the VZW deck and the pre-installed player used for user interface have been separate player instances (on the chocolate for example). 

It&#039;s either a technical issue, or the engineers don&#039;t want a newer Flash Lite player brought down OTA from the VZW deck to potentially crap out the device UI (even if Flash Lite is *mostly* backwards compatible ... aka FL 3 security, etc).</description>
