Abstract: Mobile security has become a growing concern as organizations try to gain competitive advantages through the use of a mobile workforce. As mobile devices continue to proliferate, new security challenges arise. In today’s IT environment, these devices represent a new endpoint that must be secured not only to protect sensitive data on the devices, but also to protect corporate information asset that could be accessed remotely by these devices. This talk will provide an overview of the security threats facing the mobile world, and discuss new solutions for protection against such threats.

Abstract: As an emerging technology, Femtocell is gradually maturing and has the potential to penetrate into mass consumer market competing against another existing wireless technology- WiFi. This short talk gives a high level overview to compare these two wireless technologies: Femtocell vs. Wi-Fi, from aspects including security, QoS, and beyond.

Dr. Changfeng Wang, President and CTO, Predictive Data Corporation

Abstract: Mobile advertising is a tiny but fast growing market. But many believe it is the next big thing and will supplant not only Internet advertising but other pillars of traditional advertising media also. We will cut through the hype and take a look into the market and business landscape, how the technology works, the challenges, and opportunities.

The presentation is indented for diverse audience: People who are novice to the area and want to take a glimpse to a new area, people who are already in the field and want to gain another perspective, who are considering advertising as part of their mobile business strategy.
