D.C. (David Collier) from pikkle (Flash Lite company in Japan), posted about the new docomo 906 series being out in Japan, soon.

These devices have Flash Lite 3.0 and support multiple content types.

One content type that is new and of interest, is called “decome anime”.

Decome Anime allows Flash content to run inside a user’s emailer, allowing for personalized interactive messages of sorts.

I suppose all the content is tightly operator controlled, but I don’t know enough about it (yet). One thing is for sure; it’s a great way to get more Flash Lite content to users in that region … and if other Western based operators are reading this, it would be very cool to see this; as well as other highly interactive content types become a reality other than Japan!
