With more than 190 employees, Adobe’s Tokyo office focuses on sales, marketing, and engineering. The office occupies the 19th floor of Gate City Ohsaki.

Position Summary

Product Support Representative : Answers telephone “hot line” and written or Internet-based inquiries from customers regarding company products.

Analyzes problems with non-functioning electro/mechanical equipment or software applications to identify problem area(s) and recommend corrective action. Recommends solutions to customer application questions.

Maintains log of problems so that recurring problems can be reported to product development.

Responsibilities

Reporting to Customer support managers, this person is responsible to carry out following technical support tasks;

- Delivery of regular hours support to Flash SDK and Flash Lite.

- Communicate efficiently with US teams for escalation. Provide technical feedback to engineering.

- Source Delivery upon requests. Packaging and Source code maintenance if necessary.

- Internal cross functional support, including ATS on SDK and FL products.

Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.

JOB COMPLEXITY:

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel.

SUPERVISION:

Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
