Loading ...Bill Perry (flashdevices.net), posted a sheet of compiled forecasted worldwide installed base data for Flash Lite devices between 2007-2008 (projected).
The first of Flash Lite “reports” for 2008
The data itself is coming from the Strategy Analytics Flash-Enabled Handset Forecast report that was posted about recently.
This newly compiled sheet provides some reported #’s of devices with Flash Lite installed worldwide; broken down by:

| The data is divided into 6 main regions: North/South America, APAC (Asia Pacific), CALA (Central America/Latin America), Western Europe, Central Europe and Japan |
| Version |
| 1.x, 2.x, and even projected 3.x numbers |
Some #’s for Penetration Rate
One of the biggest questions asked (by both platform adopters and prospective clients) is what regions, and versions to target content towards with Flash Lite.
This compilation of data gives some credence to (at least some of) what we have been saying within the Flash Mobile community over the past year.
The numbers speak for themselves … but everyone has their own agendas so I won’t be offering up any specific business advice in this particular post as it pertains to any specific ecosystems.
Also, Bill mentioned Adobe would be providing some additional data at some point. Stay tuned.
