iRivier W7

iRiver has some new info about it’s latest Personal Media Player (PMP), the iRiver W7.

Looks like a pretty sweet device, and supports: Video, E-dictionary, Movie, E-Book, Touch & Jog, Flash (Games), and even more features!

All the tech specs are available … if you look; note the Flash Lite 2.0 player on board this device. Yes, like it’s cousin (the Clix) and many other iRiver devices, the Clix, it supports Flash (Lite).

No doubt they are leveraging it for both Flash Games, as well as possibly even the UI … would make sense given the lineage of Clix devices and other applications of Flash Lite UI within their product line!

Hardware wise … things that stood out to me are the internal speaker (awesome!), touchscreen via stylus and/or the new control knob, Mini SD support, and more.

All the multimedia capabilities are listed here.

You can get more info about this Korean device over at iRiver.

iRiver W7 “in the wild

I have not heard whether or not this will make it out of the Korean market or not.

[...] already posted about the W7 PMP a while back … looks they have a device called P10 (PMP), “SPINN” (PMP), P20 (PMP), and HOMME [...]

Got my W7 this week, and have been nothing but impressed. It is a sleek, solidly built player. The interface is very user friendly. Exceeds my expectations. Sound is awesome.

just had to reformat my W7 and lost all my data does anyone have the W7 and could give me a copy of the flash games as I can’t seem to get them anywhere. For that matter has anyone come across any other flash games for it?

    Thanks!!!!
