Dale had a recent observation about “Where’s Bill?” … aka the absence of Bill Perry from the MAX 2007 North America banner.
With all the Flash mobile going on at that North America event (Yes, Bill is speaking on Flash Lite 3 in addition to some other folks you already should know) … but, where [...]

Bill Perry had a recent post about Flash Lite for BREW, as well as last week’s BREW conference. This includes some recent device and subscriber stats.
Although there are no recordings (thus far, at least) from the BREW event, a presentation is available from flashdevices.net.
Also, just a note, but the Flash Lite 2.1 BREW [...]

Alessandro setup a formal linkedin group for for Flash Mobile and Device members over at linkedin.com.
We (Flash Mobile Professionals) can now be one step better at being interconnected, even if we many of us are physically dispersed by regions.
I personally have been using linkedin for a while and it is a useful application. linked-in [...]

I was holding off on posting about the Chumby announcements until I heard officially from those fine folks (Steve and Duane … greetings, hope you are both well!) over at Chumby Industries.
As well as some some Engadget coverage today … Steve Tomlin recently posted some news about the production version of the chumby scheduled to [...]

Apple put up a guided video tour of the iPhone. Much of this we have already seen, but it’s nice to have it all in one place.

Adobe Creative Suite 3 rocks …
As Flash Mobile designers and developers, the new Adobe Device Central CS3 is giving us a much improved way to test our Flash Lite content than was previously possible within the Flash 8 Mobile Emulator.
There are some really great new features that have been implemented such as: device profile searching, [...]

Apparently, there’s some speculative talk about a second version of the Nintendo DS Lite over at dsfanboy and engadget.
My question: How do you improve on near perfection?
I’m sure Nintendo has some good ideas to answer this question (if the rumors are in fact true).
UPDATE: There is a reason why I said “near” perfection. Sure [...]

Via engadget … not surprisingly, iRiver has just announced yet another PMP like device with Flash Lite 2.1 onboard.
This device supports Flash Lite content (games), as well as the infamous D-Click User Interface.
Looks very similar to the iRiver B20 profile, except this device has access to satellite programming (i.e. it supports tv, radio, & [...]

iRiver is rolling out a new personal media player called the NV (initially dubbed the M10 at CES).
It has a Flash Lite 2.1 user interface (see picture below: top level nav).
Here are the specs and all the goodies it has to offer a user:

The Korean YEPP T-9+ Personal Media Player supports Bluetooth gaming with some of its preinstalled games.
Could these be Flash Lite bluetooth games?! I’m not exactly sure how they are implementing these at the lowest level (API? XmlSockets?), if this is the case … however, the US based T-9 does promote Flash Lite standalone games … [...]
