Flash on Mobile Devices: “A gentle introduction to Flash Lite” @ Harvard University Flash User Group on March 15, 2007
March 12th, 2007 by Scott JanousekI will be giving an impromptu presentation on Flash Lite at the Harvard University Flash User Group on March 15, 2007, from 12:15 – 1:45 P.M. @ Lamont Library, Harvard Yard, entitled: “Flash on Mobile Devices: A Gentle Introduction to Flash Lite”.
I’ll talk about Flash Lite, what is going on in this mobile space, show some content, and give a preview of what to expect with newer tools like: Adobe Device Central … as well as some highlights on Flash Lite 3 (native Flash Video), Adobe Flash Home, and Adobe Flash Cast (well, not quite new per se but more are adopting it).
The group doesn’t have a website (yet), so I can’t point to anywhere. However, I believe you will have to contact either Nicholas Lamphere (<nicholas_lamphere AT harvard PERIOD edu>), or Philip Desenne (<desenne AT fas PERIOD harvard PERIOD edu>) if are local (Cambridge/Boston), and you want to attend. They may have to get you into the room.
Also, if I have copies of Foundation Flash Applications for Mobile Devices (Friends of Ed, ISBN: 1590595580) in hand by that time, I may give one or two out.
That is all (for now).
