It’s been about two years since the global introduction of Flash Lite to the world. I thought it might be interesting to see the community as some sort of “geocentric” type representation.

I recently found this nifty service called FRAPPR which allows just this, so I thought I’d post and put it to some good use.

View: Flash Lite Community Worldmap (at 900 x 600)

Please add yourself to this “Community Worldmap” if you are working with Flash Lite (use the “shout-out textbox” to put in your little blurb, Example: “I’m working with Flash Lite 2.1 content or, I’m working with x,y,z.” ).

Use your mouse to scroll the Globe, and then click the “Add!” link.

NOTE: Please don’t abuse the map (We have enough evil people in the world as it is!), otherwise I’ll just take it down.

P.S.
As a side-note, I know people have been proposing to make a graphical representation of Flash Lite penetration on devices across the globe. Not sure if this is the right tool, but possibly something like FRAPPR?

    Nice.

The map begs to be redone with a better Flash interface, but the results may prove interesting nevertheless.

    Cool.

Yes, Europe is a hotbed, but I think it is a language barrier that we do not see the folks from Japan, Korea and China … although I did ask some folks over there to spread the word. :)

I wish they had FRAPPR like service on linkedin.com … that would be useful.
