I noticed that Disney Mobile recently launched (it’s a MVNO). Not surprising, especially when you consider the age demographics of Mobile usage these days.
As far as I know they are only launched here in the U.S., however they might possibly have plans to globalize this service … due to the popularity of the worldwide [...]

If you use whiteboards a lot, you’ve mistakeningly used permanent ink on it once or twice (usually this is because someone leaves such a marker lying about!). Well, there’s a pretty cool trick, if you’re in a situation where there is no whiteboard cleaner to be found anywhere …
Simply write over the permanent marker [...]

I thought this was an interesting idea: Cellphedia.
Basically you text in a question, and you get an answer via SMS from others in this free service It’s kind of a “Social Encyclopedia”. Currently, it’s a research project … and, no it doesn’t use Flash Lite.

I noticed the iriver s10 is now out in Korea.
Unfortunately, from the specs, it appears as though it does not support Flash Lite content (I can’t imagine playing any games, etc on it anyway … because of it’s small footprint!) … it does however, support a Direct-Click User Interface.
Some great photos are here. [...]

The Mobile Team has just pushed out Mobile Device Profile Updater #4.
It includes an official iriver u10 profile, as well as more Flash Lite 1.1 devices … even my favorite in the Series 40 category thus far … the Nokia 6131.
Check out more information on the update site or Bill’s blog.

Can anyone point me to an simple app that makes USB devices (like thumbdrives) appear as icons on a Windows (XP) Desktop?
I want to turn 2 clicks into just one … like the way the Macs handle device mounting. You plug the device in and it shows up on the desktop. Click and [...]

I created a Mobile Device Profile (MDP) for the viliv p1 a while back. This template is a.) not certified, and b.) not officially sanctioned by either Adobe nor Yukyung. Feedback, bugs, and comments are welcome. This is a first version.
Download:
■ Yukyung_viliv_p1.mxp (Version 1.0)
To Install:
You’ll need the Macromedia Extension Manager. Then just click on the [...]

This is an “ad hoc” Mobile Device Profile (MDP) for the iriver e10 I have been using for Flash Lite development on the device. This is merely a “homebrew” template. Once Adobe releases their version, you should use that one.
Again, it has not been certified by neither Adobe nor iriver. It is merely something [...]
