A few months back, there was some speculation on what the iriver n20 would look like.

In fact, some sketches were officially released from iriver:

Recently, this unofficial photo (courtsey of misticriver) was posted:

The u10 is pictured on the right. I can’t say for certain whether it is in fact the iriver n20 on the left. However, it does look convincing, given the original prototype sketches seen above.

Either way, we’ll know for sure next month, as the release date for the n20 is anticipated soon (September?).

Does it run Flash Lite? Not sure … no official specs have been released.

However, from the photo, it looks as if the device supports a D-click interface simliar to that on the u10. No buttons are visible … a possible indicator that the display itself likely controls the UI. Given the exisiting product line, this would not be surprising. 

We’ll have to wait to see if this was merely a Photoshop creation or whether this really is the n20.
