FITC Hollywood 2006 - An “explosion” of fun, interactivity & learning!
June 30th, 2006 by Scott JanousekWhat do you get when you cross FITC with Hollywood? An “explosion” of fun, interactivity & learning, that’s what!
I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but FITC is branching out this year. During October 5-7, interactive folks from around the world are set to converge on Hollywood, CA for FITC in Hollywood. Yeah, Hollywood, “City of the Stars”.
Should we expect Mike Downey to Halo jump to the crowd below? Will Mike Chambers jump through a glass window to defuse the ticking bomb? I’m not sure …
What I do know for sure, is there will be a lot of great speakers and presentations on Flash and other interactive technology.
Here’s the low down so far:
FITC Hollywood 2006
The Rich Media Entertainment Festival
Oct 5-7, 2006
Hollywood, CA
Over the past five years, FITC has established itself as the premiere North American conference for rich media development, particularly with Flash. Drawing on global leaders in Flash and rich media, FITC has provided its audience of developers, designers and educators with top-quality content and created a vibrant hub of creativity and networking.
Now, with the explosion of rich media and entertainment-driven Flash content, FITC is expanding to Hollywood, the capital of entertainment and rich media, providing a direct bridge from the key content industry drivers to the masters delivering that rich media content. FITC Hollywood is the first conference to bridge this gap, helping to foster an already exploding nexus of creativity and content in Southern California. Through exploration, presentation and discussion, FITC is helping to lay the groundwork for a future in which digital interactive interfaces surround us.
