Multi-Touch Interaction Experiments
February 19th, 2006 by Scott Janousek“While touch sensing is commonplace for single points of contact, multi-touch sensing enables a user to interact with a system with more than one finger at a time, as in chording and bi-manual operations.
Such sensing devices are inherently also able to accommodate multiple users simultaneously, which is especially useful for larger interaction scenarios such as interactive walls and tabletops.”

When will I be able to buy… I’m kidding. Very very cool! It looks a lot like the screens in Minority Report. I’d love to know what developments they make.

Hi,
The interaction seems really cool. I’d really like to show the video of the demo to my students, and make them analyse the interaction (as I teach human-computer interaction). Is it possible to download it somewhere? Do you have test results?
Thanks
Antonio

Saw this on YouTube and went on search for more info on how it works. Are there any papers available for reading? Is this project already funded by a corporation? If so, which one(s)?
