Wordpress is working out so far ... I figured out mod_rewrite (I used to do regular expressions as a full-time job years ago), but basically ended up writing straight redirects since I had already exported and imported ... didn't feel like doing the ID modifications and reimporting ... especially since I had to break apart MT data in order to get it into the system ... I figured out later you can bump up php memory usage in php.ini to avoid the problem I was having ... All in all, the move wasn't too bad. I got sick of the old one, and was really trying to move away from MT … even though I think it’s still pretty decent.
