Anderson Ranch - “Flash MX: Building Art Making Machines”
January 3rd, 2005 by Scott Janousek“2005 Anderson Ranch Arts Center” is what the piece of mail I received today said … but rather than chuck it in the trash like I normally do … this time, I actually decided to take a peek … as I perused through all the pottery and traditional “artsy” classes, I reminisced about an old roommate that once went there for a summer retreat (she did a whole lot of pottery) … then after flipping through some more pages … I came across this workshop:
Flash MX: Building Art Making Machines - it’s run by Joshua Davis of PrayStation.
Sounds cool … I love Colorado, Flash, and creative folks … so I thought I’d post it and give Josh & the school some free publicity …

It’s an amazing place. I worked there in the photo and digital department. I got to assist Joshua in his class three years ago (taught then with Mark Tribe as well) and it was amazing. He’s a great teacher and really cares about his students. I reccomend classes there to anyone and everyone.

I was pretty impressed by the diversity of workshops …
Have you checked out the Boston CyberArts festival we have here in Boston? It’s probably right up your alley.
